Very fun podcast. Loved hearing the Martian Santa Claus song again as well as the Star Wars Christmas Special intro.

Brought back memories. I did watch the Star Wars Christmas Special when it originally aired on TV, but must have blocked it out. I do have "Christmas in the Stars" the Star Wars Christmas album which (rumor has it) featured the first album receording of Jon Bon Jovi in R2D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas.

Alan Maitland's reading of "The Shepherd" reminded me of Saint Exupery's story telling in "Night Flight" and "Wind, Sand and Stars." I've read so much about flight, especially early flight, that the really good stories are now few and far between. This story was a Christmas present. Thank you, Zombie Santa.

Other than nearly two grand in repairs to the water heater and the carpet, none of my stuff got damaged this time - I'm not happy about the cost, but I'm pleased nothing important to me got damaged this time.

I do seem to experience flooding with alarming regularity, don't I?

Yeah, this year has been bad for doing full-cast Christmas stuff, but we're planning on doing our first full-hour episode next Christmas and we're beginning the script as soon as the holidays are over... so there's always next year!

I think this BBC show has the most effective police team of any horror movie, book, or radio program I've ever experienced.

They turned out a whole team of highly effective undercover cops based on a fanciful story by one officer and a large monk.

((Spoiler Below))

I know they didn't exactly get their plan to work out, but still that was a huge police undertaking based on no evidence or even a believable threat.
